A Walk at Dusk

A Walk at Dusk is an “Original Folklore” novel. The first part contains the folklore story that acts as background to the larger story that follows. It takes place during the first part in early colonial America, with later parts taking place in Antebellum Arkansas. The story itself was partly inspired by the imagery in the Caspar David Friedrich painting of the same name, which I saw at the Getty in Los Angeles years ago. Of course, I have not set my story in Romantic period Germany, but instead have placed it in the South United States in a region relevant to my own history.

The book will be published on DVS Press for free before moving to other distribution platforms. I am aiming for a release of the ebook and paperback in February of 2017. An Audible audiobook version will be released close to the time, as logistics allows. Thanks for reading!
